In my quest to find rums this year that blow my mind...I found one (actually two, check out the Clarendon 15yr).
A cool October night where vanilla, oak, caramelized apples and a touch of apple cider vinegar fill the crisp, cool night air. Sweet tastes of banana, pineapple and Manuka honey followed by the return of the vanilla and oak and finishing with warm apple pie.
I knew the Clarendon 15yr was making our shelves, then I tasted this and knew we had to have it too! So sad that there are only 255 bottles in this barrel.
