Single estate - Mesa Colorada - bottled at cask strength
This outstanding single barrel was previously used once for American whiskey and then for a number of tequila fillings before this ageing. This pale tequila displays very little oak considering its long time in the barrel, resulting in a complex agave forward profile, while still balance despite its high proof.
Nose: Agave, dried fruits & salted chocolate
Palate: Cacao spiciness, butterscotch, and a long, creamy finish.
