It’s incredibly rare to see independently bottled Balblair. Hens teeth, really big and juicy with fresh berries, mounds of chocolate and cherries, and some dark coffee to boot. This is everything you could want in a Balblair and then some… and then a little more. It’s too bad there are only 188 bottles from this cask!

COLOR: Burnished Copper

NOSE: Rich and inviting with ripe red berries, shaved chocolate, warm baking spices, freshly roasted coffee beans, and hints of almond paste around the edges of the glass.

PALATE: The PX influence is clear with dark cherry, raisin, and dark chocolate elements leading the way. The spirit behind is soft and malty with a pleasing sweetness of its own.

FINISH: Long and sweet with lingering dark cherry and dark chocolate notes.
