Long Distance Neighbors is a barrel-aged saison co-fermented with fresh pear juice.
We utilized ingredients from two producers that truly inspire us for this unique offering. We started with raw, California-grown grains from Central Milling in Sonoma County, and then co-fermented the beer with fresh pressed pear juice from our friends Mission Trail in San Luis Obispo County.
The result has one foot in beer and one foot in perry (pear cider) with a spritzy carbonation and juicy flavor.
