Latest 2021 Release.

This release, bottled in December of 2020, was aged 7 years in ex-Bourbon casks before being transferred to refill Malbec casks from South Africa's De Toren Cellars, aging a further 3 years. On the nose, rich and bright fruit jams greet you, especially strawberry and rhubarb, followed quickly by earthy smoke, dirty Springbank farmy aromas, vanilla, cocoa, spice, and a hint of leather. On the palate there is fantastic balance of industrial peatiness and fresh red fruit. A bit of soot and earth, ginger, and citrus oils are met with more rhubarb, raspberry, and those strawberry chewy candies. The finish lingers with more smoke than the palate, coffee, and iodine. Bottled at 52.5% abv
