De Fermo 2020 "Le Cince" Cerasuolo D'Abruzzo

Cerasuolo is an odd category as it can be a rose, a light red, or even a village and can come from Sicily, Molise, or Abruzzo. Confusion aside, all you need to know is it can be so very lovely. Cerasuolo loosely translates to “cherry-red”, indicative of the color extracted from Montepulciano with even the shortest amount of skin contact. Indeed, this wine is bright cherry in color with a nose of blueberries, violet oils, and herbal oils with a silk driven palate of sea salt and marzipan.
