If you were lucky enough to snag one of our Eagle Rare store pick bourbons from two years ago, then you might remember that we boomerang'd it to Mexico to have Corazon tequila aged in it. Well 2+ years later we've got a freakin' gem of a tequila!
I'll admit, I was nervous about what the results could be, but honestly why? I LOVE tequilas aged in used barrels, letting the agave flavors do the walking and talking. And boy does this baby walk. Silky sweet notes of prickly pear and guava greet the palate before a gentle hug of spice and a tapering finish back to the tropical fruits.
