The newest release from Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland. Aged 7 years and bottled at 117.4 proof cask strength. The tasting notes are comparable to the Redbreast Cask Strength released earlier in the year: light, tropical fruit nose, subtle fruit on the palate with more dominance on the clove spice. Certainly not as sherry barrel influenced as the Redbreast 12 yr.
