Probably the crown jewel of Barrell's bourbon lineup. Years past have been nearly perfect. Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee distillate.
Just tasting this now: Slick and sweet entry, but a pleasing dryness in the mid palate, a divergence from years past. Roasted nut cake, marshmallow and chocolate. Still earthy, even with the obvious dessert flavors. Certainly unique, and I'm spending a lot of time with my nose in the empty glass bouncing between sweet and earth. Very cool Bourbon. Definitely worth a revisit.
