American Highway Reserve Bourbon 750mL

This first batch of American Highway balances sweet and spice with a blend of four premium Kentucky bourbons. And while they'll be introducing a new blend every year, its real character will be revealed on the road.

The rocking of the Rolling Rickhouse (following Brad Paisley on tour) draws out the barrel's natural sugars, while the climate swings push and pull the bourbon in and out of the wood, imparting more and more deep oak flavor. It’s a set of variables that add up to something amazing, just like any journey — or any country song.

Cheyne's Notes:

The nose is medium sweet & brushed with oak. The entry palate is slick to thick and lands on the sweeter side of that brushed oak from the nose. This is really good! It finishes sweet, but slowly dries out with the succulent wood. You can definitely taste the foundation laid from Bardstown Bourbon Company's use of their own juice.
